Processing Times
All orders are processed within 3–10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Orders placed after business hours will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Methods
Heavy Freight Direct specializes in moving heavy, oversized, and bulk products. To ensure safe and timely delivery, we use multiple shipping channels:
- Freight Carriers — trusted national carriers for palletized and bulk shipments.
- Rail Network — access to all major U.S. rail carriers for efficient inland transport.
- Ports & Transloading — shipments via our Pennsylvania facility with access to northeastern U.S. ports.
- Nationwide Road Network — through our agency partnership with Armstrong Transport, giving us access to trucking capacity across all U.S. roads.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on product, carrier, and destination:
- Standard freight deliveries typically take 5–15 business days after processing.
- Rural or hard-to-access locations may require additional time.
- Delivery appointments are scheduled directly by the carrier.
Delivery Conditions
- Curbside Delivery: Standard freight shipments are delivered curbside only.
- Liftgate Service: Available upon request (additional charges may apply).
- Inspection on Delivery: Please inspect shipments before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage with the driver.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Take clear photos of the product and shipping label.
- Note the issue on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at transportation@heavyfreightdirect.com with your order details.
We will assist with claims and provide a replacement or partial refund if applicable.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping rates are calculated based on product weight, dimensions, and destination.
- Freight quotes will be provided before checkout or order confirmation.
- Additional services (liftgate, inside delivery, special handling) may result in extra fees.
Google Shopping & Marketplace Orders
Products promoted through Google Shopping or other marketplaces may have specific shipping costs and delivery times shown directly in the listing.
These product-level rates take precedence over the general shipping rates described on this page.
