All products sold on Heavy Freight Direct ship from our partner facility in Pennsylvania, unless otherwise noted.

Heavy Freight Direct is the seller of record for all products listed on this website.


Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3–10 business days (Monday–Friday).
Processing includes pallet preparation, carrier scheduling, and loading.

Total delivery time = processing time + freight transit time.


Shipping Methods

Because we specialize in heavy and oversized products, we use the following transportation methods:

  • LTL Freight Carriers for palletized stone, steps, and bulk goods
  • National Truckload Network through Armstrong Transport
  • Rail and Port Partners for inland and containerized shipments
  • Liftgate-equipped carriers when required

All shipments include tracking provided directly by the freight carrier once pickup is scheduled.


Delivery Times

Freight transit times vary by destination:

  • Normal transit: 5–15 business days after processing
  • Remote locations may require additional time
  • Freight carriers will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment

A recipient over 18 must be present at the scheduled delivery time.


Delivery Conditions

  • Curbside Delivery: Standard for all freight shipments
  • Residential Delivery: Liftgate may be required unless the customer provides equipment
  • Commercial Delivery: Dock or forklift required
  • Unavailable Deliveries: If the carrier cannot access the property, redelivery fees may apply

Inspection on Delivery

Please inspect your pallet before signing the delivery receipt.

We will assist with all freight claims and provide replacement or partial refund options when appropriate.


Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated based on:

  • Weight
  • Dimensions
  • Freight class
  • Destination
  • Additional services (liftgate, residential delivery, special handling)

All shipping costs are disclosed prior to checkout.
Customers will never be charged additional freight fees without approval.


If Delivery Is Refused

Refused shipments may incur:

  • Return freight charges
  • Handling fees
  • Disposal fees (if applicable)

Please contact us before refusing delivery so we can arrange an appropriate solution.
